Overview
January is notoriously the longest, month of the year — a time when ambitious resolutions, including “Dry January,” are tested. Savanna’s #TryJanuary offers a playful, inclusive alternative that encourages progress over perfection.
Approach
Mobile exercise app.
The task was to create an engaging, mobile exercise app that encourages users to get active in January that rewards users for walking/jogging, all while aligning with Savanna’s playful, irreverent tone.
Promote progress over perfection.
A key KPI was to drive at least 3,000 user sign-ups, building an engaged community willing to take part in weekly challenges, and shareable moments — all celebrating the simple joy of trying, not just succeeding.
Results
The 6-week campaign saw 41,251 registered users, with 31,623 opting into marketing. Users logged 131,725 in-game sessions, covering 400,189 KM over 53,676 hours of activity. They shared in-app 13,776 times and collected 5,832,840 virtual lemons.
